The start of the annual crawl through the Holland tunnel with the Passover traffic - but it's worth it! (Thanks for a great night Robbie & Harvey!)

Look what happened when we checked into Foursquare... the ultimate honor for Tom - mayor of Costco!!!

The view from a window at The Duplex where we went to see our friend Colleen McHugh's show - a fun, fun night! And... that van in the middle of the picture was a TACO VAN - which means I know what I'm getting for dinner the next time I'm in that area!

Howard disappeared for a little while and I went to look for him (to make sure he wasn't being bad.) Everything was fine - he was on our bed, legs all splayed out, working on a nylabone.

This is my good friend Sean with his NYC Half-Marathon finisher medal! He and I ran it this morning with 11,941 other people (so I have one too!!) The race is basically a loop of Central Park, down 7th Ave to Times Square, across 42nd Street to the West Side Highway and then down to the finish line at the World Financial Center. It was just about a perfect day to run and a lot of fun!

Now, being able to actually see the sunbeams shining on this vehicle is really, REALLY, pretty I think... but it's not why I took the picture. I took it because of the ticket I saw an NYPD traffic cop leave all the way on the passenger side of the windshield, basically as far right as possible. (See it over there?) And it wasn't more convenient to leave it there, the cop came from the driver's side to do it - almost like she was hoping the driver wouldn't see it when he/she returned. I have conspiracy theories!

The "team spirit" group (for lack of a better description) in our office got green bagels for everyone to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Not sure I find green bagels that appetizing to begin with, or why there's one on the table that looks like it might be missing a bite, but it's a nice gesture.

I didn't eat here, but this restaurant dazzled me with its life-sized-Corona-holding Pancho Villa and the shear amount of colors and words they managed to fit in a relatively small space.

I know that Ikea can be a little exhausting sometimes, but this seemed a touch extreme. If you're going to take a nap there, why not at least pretend you are trying out a mattress or sofa or something soft?

Despite the crazy wind and rain (which claimed our flag and a section of flashing,) Tom was determined to grill these steaks - lucky me!

"You know you live in Brooklyn when" - the wall in front of your house gets tagged overnight! Luckily there is a Graffiti Free NYC program and the Dept. of Sanitation will try to remove it for us. Now we just need to remind the dogs that we DO want them barking about this kind of stuff...

Outside the 168th Armory with about 5,600 other folk getting ready to run the Coogan's Salsa, Blues & Shamrocks 5K. A super fun race with music along the whole course (and green bagels at the end!)

A bustling Grand Central Station - it always reminds me of my early years in NYC when I walked through it every day coming to or from work.

These are our front windows... we finally got some exterior trim on them after months of seeing exposed wood. Hooray!

My first NYRR race of 2010 - the Al Gordon Classic in Prospect Park. It was a little cold - but still felt great!
