September 9, 2012 - Jumbotron Action
Tom & I were in Times Square to see "Broadway on Broadway" and managed to spot ourselves on the Jumbotron as a camera panned the crowd - yay!
September 8, 2012 - Family Vet Day
We took all four dogs in for annual checkups... it actually went pretty smoothly all things considered. All the dogs were in generally good shape - but we agreed to bring Howard & Huckleberry back for teeth cleaning.

September 5, 2012 - Return to the Cyclones
For a second time in one summer - I made out to Coney Island for another Brooklyn Cyclones game. This time it was with work friends and we had a blast (especially once we figured out where the special bar was that served actual booze!)
September 3, 2012 - Rocky Mountain Hi!
Instead of driving directly back to Denver from Longmont, CO, Tom and I took a much more extended & scenic route through Rocky Mountain National Park. The views were spectacular, and just experiencing the differences in altitudes as we stopped at scenic points along the way was really cool. Oh! And we drove past the hotel from "The Shining" - AWESOME!

After my cousin Michael's wedding, Ann & Jack went looking for something more exciting to do than plain old dancing. Luckily they found this awesome tree!
August 31, 2012 - Welcome to Denver
Tom and I flew to Denver en route to my cousin Michael's wedding. We had a late night arrival - this is from the little shuttle train that connected our gates to the main terminal.

August 25, 2012 - Sneaky 14
We've got a lot of ferral cats in the neighborhood and from time to time we spot them hanging out in our backyard. Here's one that was resting on the neighbor's back step. We call all of the cats that look like this one "Sneaky" because of the time one got into our basement for a couple days. We really have no idea if it's always the same cat or different ones, so at some point we just started referring to them as Sneaky 1, Sneaky 2, etc.
August 24, 2012 - Fidget (Again!)
Fidget is becoming a more regular visitor at the office & thinks we're best friends - he's very cute.
August 22, 2012 - Skyline Volleyball
A group of us went for a run along Brooklyn Bridge Park and ended up having snacks at Bark Hot Dogs overlooking the volleyball courts at Pier 6. I definitely wanted to join in and play - what a great setting!

Usually Howard plays the role of nurse in this house - he's very good at finding boo-boos (like scrapes or bug bites) that need to be kissed - but Foxy decided she would help Daddy Tom this time.

August 18, 2012 - Coney Island Dip
Another fun Saturday run with the team - this time we ended at Coney Island and a bunch of us jumped in the water afterwards to celebrate our longest run yet in the season.
August 17, 2012 - Tom's Goodbye Party
It was Tom's last day at SAG-AFTRA, so he invited a bunch of friends and folk from his office over to the house. This shot was from a little later in the evening when things were winding down - he wasn't holding court in the dining room like this the whole night!

My college friend Gail was in town with her family, so Tom and I joined them for a lovely Saturday walk through Central Park. We met up at the Columbus Circle mall and posed for this picture with Gail's daughter, Lauren, who was completely fascinated with the giant lady parts on the the giant lady statue (hee hee.)
August 11, 2012 - Summer Streets
For a few weekends each year, the city creates a traffic free route in Manhattan from the Brooklyn Bridge up to Central Park. It's pretty incredible, and I love that we took advantage of the opportunity as part of our training this season!
