I'd never heard about this before, but Tom & I had dinner at the Farm and they were promoting Unicef's Tap Project. It's an effort to provide clean drinking water to children around the world, this year the fund targets Togo, the Central African Republican and Vietnam.
The whole concept seems like a great idea - ask restaurant patrons to donate an extra $1 or more for the tap water they usually enjoy for free. The campaign is over for now, but you can find out more or make a contribution on their website: http://www.tapproject.org
